Balloon Car Project Packet

The objective was to design and build a car powered by a balloon that minimizes backwards force and increases the forward force. We had to calculate the speed of our car using the formula S=D/T. In the packet, we had to make a Distance vs. Times graph. We had to analyze the graph and tell what the slope was doing (slowing down, speeding up, staying constant). We had to also draw force arrow diagrams.

In this project we learned about the seven types of forces. These forces include Gravity, Buoyant Force, drag/Air Resistance, Friction, Tension, Compression, and Applied.
